About Carissa

My name is Carissa and I work with Ovaleye Cloud Services. As the Community Relations Manager, I contribute to and execute our social media marketing plan; The most favorite part of my days are connecting with small business owners to network, provide guidance to and feature our web hosting members. Each week I also produce and co-host the Small Businesses Do It Better Show for Ovaleye.tv. The show interviews small business owners who share what it was like starting up, their favorite tips, resources they’ve used, and where they hope to go in the future. I love working with small business, I grew up doing so. My grandparents and my parents are both small business owners and I suppose I was raised into it. My whole life I have seen the amount of time and effort needed to put into a business. Shortly after college I began working for an Internet startup as an Advertising Assistant. I since have worked very closely with small business CEO’s, CFO’s, Accountants, Operations Managers and such, gaining a well rounded knowledge of how businesses are run successfully. Shortly after getting married, my husband started a small business of his own, which we own and operate.
